At TowardPi, our mission is to advance technical engineering and drive new clinical discoveries in the field of ophthalmology
About
TowardPi Medical Technology Ltd was founded in Oct 2017 with its core technology originating from Tsinghua University in Beijing. The company is headquartered in Zhongguancun Life Science Park, Changping District, Beijing, China. TowardPi prioritizes self-innovation and possesses advanced technical expertise in the fields of Photoelectricity, Optics, Mechanics, Flushbonading, Software, Algorithms, and AI, among others.
Currently, the company has over 300 employees, with over 50% engaged in R&D, and more than 70% of the R&D staff holding postgraduate degrees. TowardPi operates three R&D centers located in Beijing, Shanghai, and Nantong. Additionally, the company owns production bases in Beijing, Suzhou, and Tianjin, specializing in various ophthalmic equipment product lines, including SS-OCT, biometers, surgical microscopes, and fundus cameras.
In recent years, we have embraced the concept of long-term value as a guiding principle. As a prominent player in China's high-end ophthalmic equipment industry, TowardPi has successfully developed a democratic corporate management approach, with scientists spirit at its core.
Since its establishment, TowardPi has secured multiple rounds of equity funding and received awards from the Ministry of Science and Technology and from Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, Zhongguancun.
